We would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents that we will be providing taster sessions for kids (and big kids too!!) over the Summer Holiday period. The sessions are an hour long; include all equipment and full supervision from qualified and experienced instructors! Prices are £15 per Junior, £17 per Concession and £20 per Adult. Allcord Bouldering Series Final - 21st March 2008

The final round of the Allcord Bouldering series is scheduled for this Friday 21st March. The title of series winner is still up for grabs in several categories with great prizes on offer for the first three places in each category. Don’t miss out!

The competition will run from 5pm till 9pm and will comprise the following categories:

Junior Boys Under 16
Junior Girls Under 16
Senior Male
Senior Female
Veteran Male
Veteran Female

The second round of the Allcord Bouldering Series was a closely contested affair in all categories.

The senior male category was won by British Leading Team member Adam Watson with local climber Andrew Porter taking second place – with only six points behind to separate them!

First place in the senior female category was shared between Newcastle Students Polly Harmer and Rosie Shaw with Sophia Ballantine narrowly missing out on making it a three-way tie.

In the junior male category, Ben Patterson made it two in a row, taking the win by ten points from Jamie Naden. Kate Watson and Bethany Walton tied for 1st place in the junior female group and the ‘veterans’ saw Sian Oakley and Bryan O’Sullivan winning their respective categories relatively comfortably.

Hope to see you at the Third and final round on March 21st 2008....!!

Round Two of the Allcord Bouldering Series will be held at Sunderland Wall on Friday 15th February 2008. REMEMBER!: The Series will be scored over the best of two rounds so if you missed the first round never fear - You could still win the Series!!
